Lennox St
The first church was built at the original township in 1853 and was moved here in 1856. A large wooden church was built in 1866 and the current brick building was consecrated in 1879.
The colours of the 47th Infantry Wide Bay Regiment are prominently displayed in the church. The Bell Tower and its peal of nine bells which arrived from the UK in 1888 was a gift from pioneer Edgar Aldridge in memory of his wife Maria.
