The Community Support Service (CSS) program provides general counselling for a wide range of issues that can affect anyone emotionally and psychologically.
Anyone is eligible to receive counselling through this program; adults, children and young people. No referral is needed however referrals from community agencies, GP's and other medical professionals are accepted. UnitingCare Community encourages people to contact us directly.
UnitingCare Community's professional counsellors assist people to build strategies for coping and help them to find new ways of approaching issues. Some of the difficulties clients can explore include - grief and loss, depression, anxiety, self-esteem and assertiveness, suicide bereavement, life direction, relationships, stress and trauma management, workplace issues, parenting issues, family breakdown and other personal crises.
