On the river bank directly outside the "Power house" New Farm in the valley (next to New Farm Park).

This artwork was purchased by the Brisbane City Council and is located within the tidal zone along the bank of the Brisbane River. It's an ongoing experimental project.

I’m watching how the environment interacts with the artwork. With flood and gruesome sludge build up, the artwork is being hammered. Fortunately the piece is extremely heavy duty and will take a battering for many years.

Since 1994, Chris has worked primarily on public artworks. An important intention of these works is to add human qualities of humour and playfulness to public places.
